Estate Planning Information Session

Smith Neufeld Jodoin invites all residents of St. Pierre, to attend an Estate Planning Information Session being held at the St. Pierre Hall on October 24 at 7:00 P.M. Associate Lawyers, Cassandra Bueckert and Blake Rowswell, of Smith Neufeld Jodoin Law will be discussing the following topics:
- Estate Plan – what is an Estate Plan and why it is important at all stages of life;
- Wills – what is a Will, why are they important (Wills are not just for the rich!);
- Executor – what is an executor and what are their duties;
- Guardianship Clauses – the importance of a Will when you have minor children;
- Disabled Beneficiaries – the importance of a Will when you have disabled beneficiaries;
- Power of Attorneys – what are they, why are they important;
- Springing Power of Attorney vs. Enduring Power of Attorney – what is the difference;
- Health Care Directives – what are they, why are they important;
- Costs – what are the costs of an Estate Plan, what are the costs if you DON’T have a Will, Power of Attorney or Health Care Directive.
