Taylor's practice is focused on corporate and commercial law, mergers & acquisitions, dispositions & sales, tax law, corporate reorganizations and business succession planning. In addition, Taylor's practice areas encompass wills, estate planning, and family trusts. Taylor has extensive experience in these areas as well as in financing, commercial real estate, subdivisions, residential real estate, and matters concerning all types of owner-managed businesses and corporations. Taylor represents all types of businesses and individuals and is especially proud to represent agri-business focused entities, primary agricultural producers and the families behind them.
With a life-long background in farming, Taylor possesses a clear understanding of the intricacies of the industry and can provide knowledgeable legal guidance and advice to all types of businesses in the agri-business and farming sectors. Taylor represents all types of family farms and farm corporations, including: distributors, agricultural equipment manufacturers, processors, primary agricultural producers, input suppliers, and agricultural service providers and retailers.
With an in-depth knowledge of the farming industry, Taylor can provide specialized guidance and strategies to help clients navigate the complexities of the quota managed supply chains and work with the various marketing boards in the supply managed framework. Taylor assists clients by providing legal advice that helps business owners and their families maximize on growth and opportunity.
Since 2024, Taylor has successfully participated in the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada In-Depth Tax Program, an intensive three-year long flagship certification intended for Chartered Professional Accountants and Legal Professionals who possess the desire to earn a specialty certification that evidences an in-depth knowledge of personal taxation, corporate taxation and restructuring, and foreign cross-border taxation. Having already successfully completed In-Depth Tax I in 2025, Taylor received the invitation to continue in the program and proceed to participate in In-Depth Taxation II in 2026.
Taylor maintains a professional presence in both the City of Steinbach and the City of Winnipeg. Appointments at Taylor's Winnipeg office are available by pre-scheduled appointment only.
