Studied Philosophy at Canadian Mennonite University and the University of Manitoba before entering the Faculty of Law.

Biography

Joshua grew up in St. Claude, Manitoba, and now lives near Mitchell with his wife and two sons. He began his legal studies at the University of Manitoba’s Robson Hall Faculty of Law in 2023.

During law school, Joshua worked as an editor for the Manitoba Law Journal in 2024 and joined SNJ as a summer student in 2025. He also worked with the Faculty of Law, grading and providing feedback to students in the French section of a first-year law course.

Joshua was active in law school leadership, serving as President of Robson Hall’s Christian Legal Fellowship chapter and as second-year representative for the Runnymede Society.

He earned his Juris Doctor in 2026 with a concentration in Access to Justice in French.

Joshua also competed in the Bastarache and Laskin moot competitions, where he further developed his written and oral advocacy in French.

Joshua is a Christian and enjoys spending time with his family, reading, studying the Bible, hunting, and gardening.
