Ronald E. Janzen Partner

BACKGROUND

Ron articled in 1996 at a firm located at Portage and Main in Winnipeg, and remained as a lawyer at that firm until 2003.  He then joined SNJ, and worked in Steinbach while assisting with John Neufeld’s Niverville practice.  Ron established SNJ’s full-time office in Niverville in 2005 and enjoys providing legal services to Niverville and the surrounding communities.  He has been a partner of SNJ since 2008.  Ron’s parent’s came from Southern Manitoba farming backgrounds and Niverville is, in a sense, a return to his roots, where his maternal great-grandparents lived and were laid to rest.

EDUCATION

Ron has degrees from the University of Winnipeg and the University of Manitoba, including his Juris Doctor.

AREAS OF PRACTICE

Ron practices exclusively out of our Niverville office and his areas of practice are real estate, corporate, and wills and estates.

PROFESSIONAL ACTIVITIES

Ron has volunteered as a director for non-profit corporations and has been a presenter of Real Estate, and Wills & Estates seminars numerous times.

PERSONAL INTERESTS

Ron is a Christian.  He is thankful for time with his wife and their five children, and with other family and friends. He lives just south of Winnipeg’s Perimeter Highway.  Ron and his wife are devoted fans of all their children’s activities and he has often been involved coaching his children’s teams.  He enjoys time outdoors in all of our seasons, adventures with his family including off-roading and snowmobiling, observing nature, and fishing.
