Lindsay has worked with some of the best lawyers in Manitoba.
She was hired by a Portage and Main law firm in 2009, to start work after law school in 2010. For the first year – Lindsay was mentored by a prominent arbitrator. She worked both out of the Winnipeg and Calgary office. While working in the Calgary office, she was the point person for business property tax appeals – her clients included the biggest accounting and commercial reality businesses in Calgary.
Lindsay is both a barrister (goes to court) and solicitor (prepares contracts and works on legal transactions such as real estate deals). Meaning she assists clients on both the front end of legal work (advising and drafting) and the back end (litigation). Her foreclosure, and professional regulation/administrative law, work are hybrid matters in that they often have a solicitor and barrister component.
