Associate Lawyer, Cassandra Bueckert, of Smith Neufeld Jodoin Law will be discussing the following topics:
- Estate Plan – what is an Estate Plan and why it is important at all stages of life;
- Wills – what is a Will, why are they important (Wills are not just for the rich!);
- Executor – what is an executor and what are their duties;
- Guardianship Clauses – the importance of a Will when you have minor children;
- Disabled Beneficiaries – the importance of a Will when you have disabled beneficiaries;
- Power of Attorneys – what are they, why are they important;
- Springing Power of Attorney vs. Enduring Power of Attorney – what is the difference;
- Health Care Directives – what are they, why are they important;
- Costs – what are the costs of an Estate Plan, what are the costs if you DON’T have a Will, Power of Attorney or Health Care Directive.
